Yam Pottage
Peel and dice 7 slices of yam
Boil in 1250ml of water
Add 1 Packet/Sachet of Instant Stew Base Mix. Stir and boil for 2 minutes
Stir in the spices and seasonning
Cook for a further 10 mins stirring occassionaly
After 10 minutes, lightly mash the yam, but leaving it still lumpy. Cook for a further 2 mins.
Serve and garnish with basil, coriander and rocket leaves as desired
Note: Smoked fish, dried prawns or smoked cooked chicken can also be added as desired
